Kenya Betting Control and Licensing Board Chairman to now keep Post for
Professor Musili Wambua, Chairman of Kenya’s Betting Control and Licensing Board (BCLB), would stick to their post until the Court of Appeal announces its decision on whether the official is qualified to be reappointed as Chairman of this regulator, neighborhood media reported.
The BCLB is a government-run agency and is in charge of licensing and managing wagering and other gambling venues, taxation data recovery on both betting and gaming solutions, and authorizing the country’s public lotteries.
Last year, Prof. Wambua appealed tall Court requests, under which he really should not be allowed to hold two public services during the same time. Aside from being Chairman of BCLB, he is also an Associate Dean during the School of Law in the University of Nairobi.
